What is BK Academy?

BK Academy is a comprehensive RBT training and certification program that prepares individuals to work with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Unlike traditional online courses, BK Academy combines self-paced learning with live clinical support, coaching, and real-world guidance from experienced ABA professionals.

Our mission is simple:

Build confident clinicians who make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.

BK Academy is designed for people who are passionate about helping children learn, grow, and succeed. Many of our most successful Behavior Technicians come from backgrounds that involve working directly with children, families, or individuals who need support.

You may be a great fit if you have experience in:

  • Childcare or daycare settings
  • Schools or educational support roles
  • Paraprofessional or classroom aide positions
  • Camp counseling or youth programs
  • Direct Support Professional (DSP) roles
  • Nannying or babysitting
  • Coaching, mentoring, or tutoring children
  • Other child-focused or caregiving positions

Most importantly, we’re looking for compassionate, patient, and reliable individuals who are eager to learn and make a meaningful difference.

No ABA Experience? No Problem.

Many of our trainees start with little or no ABA experience. BK Academy provides the training, guidance, and support needed to build the skills required for success.

No Certification Required

You do not need to be an RBT or hold any ABA certifications to apply. We'll help you navigate the certification process from start to finish.

Transferable Experience Welcome

Experience in childcare, education, camp counseling, paraprofessional work, DSP roles, nannying, or other helping professions can provide a strong foundation. Above all, we look for compassionate, patient individuals who are eager to learn and make a difference.
